For our client Roche Diagnostics in Zug, we are looking for a reliable and motivated (m/f/d).

Instrument Integration Engineer

The Perfect Candidate: holds a technical/scientific background (B.Sc. or completed apprenticeship) backed by 1–3 years of laboratory experience, including vocational training. They bring foundational expertise in systems engineering—specifically understanding the interplay between mechanics, electronics, and software in instrument development—alongside strong proficiency in statistical data analysis. Fluency in English and a solid command of German, combined with exposure to medical device development or tools like Python, JMP, and Azure DevOps, make them a perfect fit.

Description de la mission

  • Ensure seamless collaboration between hardware and software components, driving integration activities throughout the entire lifecycle of the instrument.
  • Independently or with minimal support, plan, execute, and document integration activities such as feasibility studies, testing and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and verify test methods for instrument testing, maintain and execute complex test cases, and ensure formal testing of instrument functionality.
  • Support and execute troubleshooting and root cause analysis for instrument issues.
  • Apply statistical methods and data analysis using software tools to evaluate test results, identify trends and correlations, interpret findings, and generate reports that inform decision-making
  • Foster a culture of open communication and collaboration, bringing fresh ideas to the table, encouraging innovation, and supporting continuous improvement.
