We are looking for a Life Sciences Consultant – Business Development & Talent Acquisition (m/f/d) on a 80–100% basis.

In this role, you will combine commercial development activities with recruitment expertise to support the growth of the organization and strengthen its presence in the Life Sciences market. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, approaching prospective clients, and developing trusted, long-term partnerships with decision-makers across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and diagnostics companies.

Your responsibilities will include actively prospecting new clients, mapping the market, and monitoring industry trends to identify emerging opportunities. You will conduct competitor analyses, prepare and deliver tailored presentations of recruitment and consulting services, and negotiate recruitment mandates and service agreements in line with client needs and business objectives. You will also represent the company at conferences, networking events, trade fairs, and other industry gatherings to reinforce visibility and expand your professional network.

On the talent acquisition side, you will search for, approach, and engage highly qualified Life Sciences professionals and leaders across relevant disciplines. You will conduct interviews and assessments, evaluate candidate suitability, and guide candidates throughout the full recruitment process, from initial contact to placement. In parallel, you will maintain and develop a strong talent pipeline, keep regular contact with high-potential profiles, and ensure an up-to-date understanding of the market to advise clients on hiring strategies, salary positioning, and talent availability.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a high level of service quality, accurate market feedback, and effective matching between client requirements and candidate profiles. This position requires a strong balance between sales mindset, consulting ability, and recruitment expertise, with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility in a fast-moving and specialized environment.

Profil attendu pour l'emploi

You hold a university degree in a Life Sciences discipline such as Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field. You have a solid understanding of the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or broader Life Sciences industry, and you are comfortable discussing technical and market-specific topics with credibility and confidence.

Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, executive search, human resources, or personnel consulting is highly desirable. Alternatively, you bring several years of professional experience within the Life Sciences industry and have a strong interest in business development and recruitment. A proven ability to identify opportunities, build relationships, and develop trust with clients and candidates will be essential for success in this role.

You combine excellent communication and networking skills with a proactive, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented mindset. You are comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and driving activities forward with structure and persistence. Strong negotiation skills, sound stakeholder management, and the ability to understand business needs quickly are important assets. You are service-oriented, persuasive, and able to adapt your communication style to different interlocutors, from technical experts to senior leaders.

You demonstrate professional maturity, discretion, resilience, and a genuine interest in people and markets. You are fluent in English, and German is considered a strong asset.
