Flexsis: Beyond Recruitment, a Strategic Partnership
- Blog

For one year now, Rogelio Valdivia has been at the helm of Flexsis, pursuing an ambitious vision: using automation as a lever to strengthen customer proximity. His goal? To transform Flexsis into a strategic partner that supports businesses toward future success with innovative HR solutions.
Since August 1, 2024, Rogelio Valdivia has led Flexsis in German-speaking Switzerland, one of the flagship brands of Interiman Group, the Swiss leader in permanent and temporary staffing. This role crowns a diverse career that began in insurance and expanded into telecommunications, fleet management, and the luxury segment. After holding positions at MCI WorldCom, LeasePlan and within the Bucherer Group, he joined Global Personal Partner in 2022 as Regional Director, playing a key role in its transformation into Flexsis. “That merger enabled the creation of a strong brand with national reach, while preserving local proximity. This dual foundation, both strategic and human, is at the heart of our vision,” he explains.
A Paradigm Shift
For Rogelio Valdivia, the real challenge isn’t following technological trends but redefining the client relationship. “Our industry is too often seen as just a CV database. We want to move beyond that transactional logic. Our aim is to become a strategic partner to our clients.” This ambition requires a deep cultural transformation, focusing not only on companies’ immediate needs but also their medium- and long-term vision.
“It’s no longer enough to fill a vacancy; you must anticipate market developments, participate in resource planning, and add real value at every stage.” At Flexsis, this mindset means engaging with decision-makers at the highest level, not merely operational staff. “We must be at the table where strategic company orientations are shaped. Only then will we be seen as partners, not replaceable service providers.”
Automation as a Means, Never an End
This ambition is accompanied by deep reflection on the use of artificial intelligence. Rogelio Valdivia remains pragmatic: “AI will transform our professions. But it’s not a magic wand. The goal is not to automate for the sake of automating but to free up time to strengthen human relationships with clients and candidates.” Too often, he argues, companies waste resources on tasks that add no real value. “We need to identify the processes where automation boosts efficiency, so we can focus on what matters: listening, advising, guiding.”
This approach also eases the burden on internal teams. “Our people are our most valuable asset. If they spend their days on unnecessary procedures, they risk burning out. We want them to be present for building genuine trust with clients and candidates.”
Praising Proximity
“Proximity” is a word Rogelio Valdivia returns to again and again. But this isn’t vague closeness; he champions strategic intimacy with client companies. “We want each client to feel understood. That requires knowing not just their needs, but also their business model, culture, and ambitions.” To this end, Flexsis invests in continuous training, market analysis tools, and most importantly a new posture: active listening and delivering concrete value.
“We are not here to fill out forms. We are here to assist leaders with their strategic HR planning. And that changes everything.” This approach, already rolled out at major Swiss companies, has proven successful: Flexsis has strengthened its position even in a tense economic climate.
A Long-term Vision Amid Turbulence
The temporary work market in Switzerland is slightly contracting. Competition is intense, margins are under pressure, and many companies are developing in-house recruitment strategies. Yet Rogelio Valdivia remains optimistic: “Our strength lies in our adaptability. We don’t sell a fixed product. We design tailored, agile solutions aligned with clients’ realities.”
This pragmatism does not dilute ambition. Ultimately, Rogelio Valdivia aims to make Flexsis a reference point in HR consulting, integrating top technological innovations while staying true to a central conviction: “At the heart of our profession are human relationships. AI can help us work smarter. But in the end, emotional, strategic, and human intelligence is what makes the difference.”
