The focus is firmly on temporary employment, supplemented by try-and-hire models and permanent positions. “We’re strong, fast, and efficient,” says Philipp Crisafulli, Senior Recruiting Consultant. “Whenever someone needs staff, whether it’s today, tomorrow, or for a longer period of time, we’re ready.”
This speed is no coincidence. The team has built a dense regional network and works closely with the RAV (Regional Employment Centre) and other local partner companies. That give-and-take works extremely smoothly, which makes all the difference.
“Here in Schaffhausen, the people know us and we know them,” says Branch Manager Dario Russo. “The trust is there, on both sides.”
A market under pressure
As in many regions of Switzerland, the talent shortage has an impact on everyday life in Schaffhausen as well. Finding qualified employees is challenging, yet Flexsis consistently manages to deliver the perfect solution quickly. “Our network is our greatest strength,” says recruiter Viktoria Stiene. “We have a pool of candidates that we already know. This allows us to provide solutions even at short notice.”
When a request comes in, the team first checks the existing candidate pool. Only if no suitable profile is available will the job be advertised – on all relevant platforms. Then candidates are personally invited and interviewed, and the dossier is prepared together with them. Before a dossier goes to the client, an obligatory reference check is required – a quality step that verifies the desired experience and reliability.
“We want to know the people we’re placing,” emphasises Stiene. “Only when we’re convinced it’s a good fit does the dossier go to the client.”
A real sense of closeness
Flexsis Schaffhausen doesn’t just provide support during the application process, but throughout the assignment. Employees are regularly contacted, visited and supported during their temporary assignments.
HR administrator Selentina Qorri: “We stop by with pastries, we listen, we take the time. It may seem simple, but it means a lot to the employees. They know that we’re there for them.”
This commitment creates loyalty and long-term relationships. Many employees maintain links with the branch office for years. Some switch from one assignment to the next, while others make the leap to a permanent position through Flexsis.
Responsive, well-coordinated, focused on solutions
The strength of the team is particularly evident when time is tight. When a client urgently needed twenty employees for a one-month production assignment, the entire team set aside their work to help out. For three hours, everyone was making calls, coordinating and organising – until all the positions were filled. The project was completed within a week.
“That was a moment when we all felt what team spirit means,” recalls Qorri. “Everyone knew what to do, and everyone pitched in.” There have been many such cases. Many clients turn to Flexsis when they need reinforcements at short notice, and they appreciate our reliability and quickness.
We work hard to maintain relationships with companies. Every two weeks, the team calls their clients, asks how they’re doing, listens and looks for ways to optimise things. “The success of our clients is also our success,” says Stiene. “When they grow, we grow along with them.”
This continuity leads to genuine partnerships. Many companies have been regularly collaborating with Flexsis Schaffhausen since the establishment of the branch – not because contracts require it, but because the collaboration simply works.
Creating opportunities, shaping the future
Beyond the clients, our focus is on the candidates. The team listens, recognises their potential and helps to create opportunities. With temp training and targeted further training, such as for forklift courses or other professional certificates, the branch promotes long-term development.
In many cases, this support leads directly to a permanent job. “Sometimes a client calls and asks if we can help a candidate obtain a forklift licence before they take them on. We do it right away,” Crisafulli says.
Many success stories begin with people who are without work coming to Flexsis. A few months later, they are back in the office – this time with a smile and a thank you. “That’s why we do what we do,” says Stiene. “When someone comes to us and says, ‘I couldn’t have done it without you,’ then you know that every hour of effort was worth it.”

The rapid growth of the Schaffhausen branch is also due in part to its origins: it was opened by Stefan Blaser, a prominent figure in HR consulting in German-speaking Switzerland. Today he is the Regional Director and still closely connected to Schaffhausen. The on-site management has been taken over by the man who has been building up the branch since day one: Dario Russo, Branch Manager. With his years of experience with HR consulting in Schaffhausen, his network and his keen sense for people, he leads the branch today with exceptional commitment.
Behind him stands a team of people who complement each other perfectly: Philipp Crisafulli, Senior Recruiting Consultant, brings experience and industry knowledge from the industrial and tech sectors.
