Flexsis Neuenhof: an agency and a team with history
- Blog
The Flexsis location in Neuenhof has been an integral part of the local scene since 1997 and was the birthplace of the company itself – the place where it all began. Back then it was all about telephones, paper files and handshakes – a time when personal relationships and reliability formed the basis of every collaboration.
Almost three decades later, many things have become more digital, yet the core has remained the same. Even now, Neuenhof exemplifies an attitude that has shaped Flexsis: honest in our dealings, experienced in the market and in touch with the people.
Neuenhof is more than a branch office; it is the foundation of the Flexsis brand and an established player in Swiss recruitment. The location supports companies and professionals from the construction and ancillary trades, the skilled trades, and industry. The branch office arranges temporary assignments as well as permanent placements, always aiming to bring people and companies together, but also to build sustainable, long-term working relationships.
A network that gets the job done
Over a period of decades, the Neuenhof office has built a sustainable network comprised of companies, specialists and institutions. Many enquiries here start not with the question of whether a specialist or a job is available, but rather when the assignment can begin. Quick decisions, clear words and mutual understanding are simply the way we work.
“Without this network, recruitment would be a tough slog these days. But thanks to our regional network, it’s a well-oiled machine with our partners”, says Branch Manager Francesca Mazzetti, aptly describing the dynamics.
Experience is strength
This tight-knit aspect is also reflected in the team. Anyone who enters the office in Neuenhof immediately senses the stability that is created by many years of experience. Some employees have been working at the branch for over 25 years.
In an industry that is constantly changing, this continuity is anything but ordinary. It means the teams knows the language of the construction sites and the production halls, and that the requirements are understood from the outset. The team knows what clients mean when they “need someone right now”, and they know the profiles that fit the bill. Experience is not a buzzword here, but daily practice.
Between business and continuity
At the same time, the branch operates in an economic environment that is becoming increasingly demanding. The order situation in industry fluctuates with the markets. In construction, the season and weather determine the rhythm. Busy summer months are followed by quieter winter months, with short-term staffing requirements popping up in the meantime. New challenges are emerging as well. Flexsis Neuenhof actively addresses these developments with presence, personal dialogue and a clear position. Direct contact remains key, especially for people who want to work and are seeking reliability.
Recruitment with precision
Every placement in Neuenhof begins with a careful look at the professional requirements, the personal fit and the team culture. Only when the picture is complete does the search begin, supported by the location’s network, proven contacts and targeted job advertisements.
After personal discussions, reference checks and conclusion of the contract, a similarly careful preparation follows, including protective equipment, safety instructions and complete documentation. No one should have to improvise on their first day of work. This care is a reflection of respect – towards both the company and the employees.
Support instead of micromanaging
At Flexsis Neuenhof, placement does not end with the signing of the contract. During the initial conversation, further training opportunities are addressed and actively promoted, whether in the form of language courses or crane operator courses. That contact is maintained during the assignment: feedback discussions and spontaneous visits to the site are part of the mix.
The experienced HR consultant and Branch Manager in Neuenhof has an apt metaphor for describing her role: “We’re like coaches on the sidelines. We provide input, motivate and teach, but the actual performance is delivered by the employee themselves.”
Reliable partnerships
This type of collaboration has led to many companies in the region collaborating with Flexsis Neuenhof for years – some since the very beginning. They appreciate the honest communication, the accessibility and the professional understanding of the respective companies.
The branch acts like an external HR department, coordinates assignments, checks availability and identifies potential at an early stage. This is how long-standing partnerships are formed. One example of this is the development of an employee who started as a tradesman, later became a foreman and today occupies a managerial role.
A team with history and integrity
This work is carried out by a team that is as down-to-earth as the region itself. Since 1 January, the branch has been under the management of Francesca Mazzetti, who succeeded Bruno Brändli as Branch Manager. Brändli put his stamp on the location for many years with his deep HR and industry expertise in the construction and trades sector and is currently working as the Head of Operations for German-speaking Switzerland.
Francesca Mazzetti knows the branch and the market from her own experience. Previously, she worked as a Senior Recruiting Consultant in the construction and trades sector – so she brings not only professional expertise but also a strong understanding of people and situations. At her side is a team of people who complement each other in terms of experience, expertise and personality. Luigi Scarabelli, former Branch Manager and now Key Account Manager, was one of the location’s first employees and provides both expertise and consistency. Dani Berz, as Key Account Manager, oversees the production area and contributes production expertise and a keen sense for customer needs.
Senior Recruiting Consultant Filippo Gennarini is responsible for the area of asbestos removal, while Recruiting Consultant Michael Greco ensures cool-headed organisation and high-quality, precise placements. As the youngest member of the team, Roberto Di Bella brings fresh energy and new perspectives to recruitment. Ruth Naseer and Manuela Santesso ensure stability in the background, acting as administrative stalwarts that hold the whole branch together.
Together they form a well-oiled team that embodies trust, respect and collaboration – day in and day out, year after year.
Conclusion: Where experience meets humanity
Flexsis Neuenhof is more than a recruitment agency; it’s a part of the history of Swiss HR consulting. Since 1997, this office has known people by name, companies personally and the region in every detail.
It’s not just about placement – it’s about supporting, developing and connecting people. Experience and humanity go hand in hand here. That’s exactly what has sustained this location for many years and still shapes it to this day.
